Door ding in fendor - Removal
Question-
I had a co-worker whose door got away from them in some wind and it bounced off my front fender where the "Camaro" used to be. It left just an ever so slight vertical crease. I removed the "Camaro" emblem (de-badged) but in the right light you can still see the crease. Those who may know, can I remove the fender lining and use a roller tool to press the crease out? Believe me it's very easy to screw up today's metal, you can go from a so slightly down ding to a horrific up ding. My suggestion would be to check your local car dealers and see who they use for paintless ding work, I can give you the name of one of the best but he's in southern Alabama.

Don't try it yourself. Then you might be looking at a new fender. Get a PDR guy to come out and fix it. If there is no actual paint damage, it shouldn't break $50.00 to get it fixed and look like it never happened. PDR techs are scattered just about everywhere these days, and if you can't find one, your dealer will certainly have one that works for them.

I had a vertical crease on my door just below the outside mirror down to the body crease. PDR got rid of it and looks like it was never there.
