Need help: Weird Rattling Sound in SS

I just traded in my M6 LS for a 1LE/SS, and I've noticed that in low RPMs I hear a rattling noise underneath my shifter or pedal, but the rattling stops when I press down on the clutch. I can't tell if it's still rattling on higher RPMs because my quad exhaust noise covers any other sound, but I was wondering if this is a normal occurrence or if I should go into Chevy to see what's going on?

Thanks for the help!

I had that. After a couple of trips, they told me that it was a metal tag on top of the transmission that had come loose.

Did they fix it? And was it covered by warranty?

It might be normal manual "gear rollover". If the innards are turning in neutral, they can bang around a bit with the cylinder firing pulses. Sounds a little bit like marbles in the transmission.

Seems like many Camaros are afflicted with this, mine included. I talked to Tremec about this and they said it was gear clash and due the pulses in the engine it would possibly sound like a rattle. I had a 99 SS with a T56 and it didn't do this. There must be clearance differences between the T56 and TR6060.

I had the same rattle and it drove me nuckin futs. I finally took off the passenger side trim piece on the console and found a connector hitting the underside of the console that worked it's way loose. Stuck it back and used a little tape. Problem solved.
