Test Drove Camaro Today

I just went to my local dealer today to drive the new Camaro 2SS and all I got to say is wow. The local dealer has 15 Camaros 8 in the show room and like another 5 outside. The only bad news is that the one i test drove was going for 51,000 because they bought them out of other dealers. But the car it self was amazing it was not my car and people giving me the and i felt cool. I did take video and a couple of pictures will post them up 2morrow since my camera is charging sorry guys. I picked up the car to 90 miles and hr and I was oh crap it picks up fast. the only problem is you do not feel the car going 90 miles and hr it's a ticket just waiting to happen lol. just want to give a big to GM for making such a nice looking car and performance wise. i will post pictures and video later. the only bad news is my wife wants me to get a sixxer since i have a v8 already or sale mine. oh some dude in this dodge ram was messing with me and the sales man just fasten his seat belt and told me go for it. just felt sorry for the dodge ram there were just alot of cars and he picked the wrong one. and the seats are very comfortable black leather. the only bad thing that i did not like is to move the seats forward since it's electric it takes long.

Here are the pictures and video of my test drive from yesterday sorry for the black and white my kids moved the setting. Please bare with me my wife she talked to much on the ride i guess she was excited. oh since we are right on the border to mexico we talk in spanish and in english sorry if you want me to translate please let me know.

I don't think it's right to buy them up like that when people where waiting on orders.

Our dealer has so many orders to fill as of now. They need to hurry up and get them out.

No dealers in my area have one to test drive, they are just to sit in if they even have one at their location.

25th Anniversary...I'm sure you didn't floor it when you were messing with that Dodge, right? After all, you wouldn't want YOUR car (if you bought that one) to have had someone not breaking it nicely for the first several hundred miles, right?
(That's why I always order my cars...and try to get them with as few miles as possible...and tell the dealership NO test drives with it).

i only picked up the car to 90 since i saw that the car had 400 miles on it so i thought is way to much. the thing is since people here are preordering there's and one is in the show room there taking them. the salesman told me some dude dished out 10 grand for an orange one.

F'n ripoff. The invoice markup on new Camaro's is about 1300.00 max. So even if they paid MSRP for them they should not be anywhere near that price.

Yeah price is disgusting! People need to be informed. At Classic Chevy in Houston (Sugarland) they sell ALL vehicles at MSRP at the worst case, and that includes ALL Camaros.

If you're in the area you should check them out.

The wife and I plan on looking/test driving one tomorrow here in Louisville. My dad and I went and looked at a 2 LT here 2 weeks ago and I fell in love with the car. I previously was looking at a Dodge Challenger RT, but after seeing the new Camaro in person I changed my mind. (I grew up a Chevy man and drag raced an 82 camaro with a bored and stroked 454.) My plan is to wait until December to order one and hopefully have it for summer 2010.
