Late 2012 Chevrolet Incentives

I'm wondering if anyone here can recall if the incentives on the Camaro went up or down last year between October and January 1, 2013? I couldn't find anything here on trends in incentives over the past few years. That information would be helpful. I know it's not set in stone but I'd be curious about what their past values were.

From what I recall it has remained pretty consistent. The best incentives occur this time of year as they try to push last years model.

Well i think i'm going to the dealer tomorrow to place my order. I guess i'll hold my breath that the incentives stay relatively consistent until she comes in. Thanks guys!

The factory incentives offered are almost always going to be determined by the needs of the business. If the Camaro isn't selling well we will likely see some incentives, but if its selling fine then probably not. Are you going to order a 2014?

My plan is to order a 2014 SS. I actually LIKE the front and rear on the 2014! I guess we'll see how well they do this month and next!

how do you get incentives on a 14? the GM rebate now is on new 13s still on the lots.

I just put down a deposit on an order for a 2014 1LE at a local dealership. I was able to get $700 under invoice but got offers from 2 other dealerships that were $500 under so if you spread a decent size net you should be able to find someone willing to give you a good deal on a new 2014. Start keeping your eyes open for one of the private offers on the Chevrolet website as well.

I think what tmcclint is asking about is when it might be likely for incentives to be available on the new 2014's by comparing to previous model years when they started receiving incentives. My guess would be October at the earliest since this is the traditional start of the slow season for car buying. However car sales have been up recently so that might delay things, but there is no way to tell its all just a guess.
