I have the v6 camaro, a lot of times when I drive mostly in tep tronics, I'll park and when I try to turn it on it'll be hesitant..kinda like it doesn't want to..it'll give like 2-3 long cranks and the start..it's annoying..and I already replaced my battery so it can't be that...any suggestions? I hate having my car sounding like that when trying to get it to start when the engine is warm.

Clean the MAF and throttle body. Certainly can't hurt, and could be part of the issue.

I have the exact same problem. Just hit 40k miles. Started this summer. I've noticed it only when the engine is already warm with less than a half hour after parking. No problems starting it cold.

Try a bottle of dry gas, you will be amazed.

If your 2010's have never been back to the dealer, there is a "hard start" update for the ECM the dealer can download.
There's a website you can enter your VIN and see what your car's update status is. I'm at work now, so can't provide it at the moment, but there's been several updates to the 2010's programming (oil change interval, etc...), but you need to breakdown (no pun intended) and take it to the dealer to get'em. |
