which radar detector / laser jammer do you recommend ?

So I was debating between escort passport 9500ix and the escort redline. I usually stick to the speed limits within city limits, so I though that i would had no use for the gps capability, and also I downloaded the app on my iphone which tells me where are the cameras and stuff like that are; however , When I hit the highway, I usually do like 10 or 15 km/h over the limit therefore that's why i chose the redline, mainly because the dual antenna and long range, and because its stealth to radar detector detectors.
Now I am looking at laser jammers, which one do you guys think could offer the best protection ? which one do guys have installed if you do have one?

thanks

I've had the Escort 9500ix for about 3 years and it works great. I don't use it to speed but rather want to know where the police are hiding. I don't know much about lazer jammers. From what i've heard or read they are pretty expensive.

I thought detectors were illegal in Canada.

Detectors are legal in Canada in the provinces of BC, Alberta, and Sask. The rest of the provinces are illegal.

I own an 8500 x50. Pretty happy with it, but I think on the 9500 model, you can tell it to ignore certain signals via GPS location (like the flashing signs that tell you the speed limit).

I went with the laser interceptor paired with the Sti-r plus from beltronics - love them both!

Also have the beltronics gx65 in the jeep. Great for a windshield mounted system

The 9500ix is the best detector for the money. I love mine. I am guessing it has paid for itself 20 times over so far.

For radar I would recommend either the STiR or the V1 with YaV1 app.

For the best of both worlds get an AL Priority with STiR Integration.

I would opt for 4 heads on the ALP. Two in front and two in the rear.
