Highest markup?

What I have to deal with at a Hawaii dealership.
First one has been sitting there for at a month. Funny thing is I saw this very same car a month ago, then I visited them last week and salesman told me they sold it. Why the lie?
edit: and its still here a week after.

Second had a SOLD! sign on it.

Third one. Someone was there ready to buy it. He wanted to trade in a Silverado that had 16k miles on it and was sending pics to the wife.

or maybe those services are worth it?

$15,000 over MSRP- Good deal and you get lifetime tire rotations- LOL. I sure wish I lived in Honolulu.

Well at least you get something for the mark-up...I saw one online at a dealership in the L.A. area for MSRP $42,000 (it wasn't 42k even but I'm rounding because I forgot the exact number) 2SS/RS and it was marked up $20,000 and listed for $62,000!!

Well, as mentioned above, the free tire rotations for life on the SS is utterly worthless. However, the year's worth of scheduled maintenance would be nice.

Had a feeling the prices would balloon on the islands. Look on renting one if/when available, for now...
You may just want to take a trip to the mainland and buy/ship one over to save $$..

For that markup they should include a 5 year extended warranty, 3 years of schedule maintenance and a back rub with a foot massage. Lol

Honestly, I almost guarantee the guy that ordered it was fully intent on paying MSRP for the car. Then the car got to the dealership, and all the sudden the price was hiked 20 grand. They probably were not lying...At that time. The guy most certainly told them where they can shove the car.
