Hi, guys i have been lurking here for a while and also have been on many dealership lots. I have been on the chevy website the last 2 weeks trying to get a private offer but none have shown. I am going to try and get the car tomorrow so i wanted to know if anyone has any private offers they care to give away. Ill be beating chevy website all night and would appericate it if you can pass one along to me.

I havent any luck at all this month. However, I heard a few member called in to customer service asking "I thinking of getting a Camaro/Mustang. Can you give me any reason why I should get a Camaro instead of a Mustang" and them actually getting a $500 private offer.

To be honest they're are pretty rare, I was lucky to get one a few weeks before heading to the dealership. Even most of the sales/finance staff had to research it because they hadn't seen one before. Good luck and I've found internet explorer with the popup blocker turned off helps. Also don't just try the "build" option to get one to popup, I had to go to the deals section before I had my private offer popup.

I just called twice buying a car this week. The first time I asked them they denied it existed. Second time told them the whole mustang vs. Camaro thing it worked. 500 off. Takes about 20 minutes.

I just called twice and they seem to not know anything about it... I'm considering walking away from the car I was planning on buying now I mean no incentives at all?? What number are you guys calling??

I just tried today and it worked. Got my dad $500 off a new Traverse, but I used his info. I works with any new Chevy. Call 1 (800)950-CHEV(2438)

I gave them the "Explorer vs. Traverse talk and didn't quite work after the first hold. Then I just said "Ford was giving me $500 of the Explorer, do you have any private offers your willing to give me after all the dealership discounts?" After another hold they gave it to me. Took 25min tops.

Thanks!! That's the same number I called twice and pretty much said the same thing except I said ford offered 1500 on mustang vs nothing on 14 camaro.. And they didn't know of a private offer??

I'd say keep trying. In The email they sent me with the offer, had a label titled "Customer Appreciation Certificate" so I'd try asking for that. Keep me posted

Hey, anybody still looking to get a private offer, I just got one on the Chevrolet site after going through the search inventory section for the 2014 Camaro 2SS using Chrome Incognito mode. Mine should be in the first or second week of November and this one expires November 30th, 2013. My last one expired at the end of September but I just couldn't find what I wanted (dealer said it might still work but better to be safe!). Hope others are successful! Good Luck.
