Camaro issues L99, 6 speed, quality, etc.

I find the forum very interesting and has been helpful. I get a little dismayed at the "knee jerk" reaction to some issues. A warranty is issued for that purpose, to correct something that is wrong. The G.M. warranty is pretty good I think. And to complain that something isn't perfect or not give the warranty an opportunity to deal with it, especially a brand new item, is a bit immature. If it's not right, it gets fixed for free-not bad.
I know we all want a no hassle, no issues world every time. I've had that in products and I've had the bear too.
I have had no issues with performance or quality with my 1SS L99. Am I fortunate, yes. Are there others who have had no problems, yes. I waited eight months on mine. Perhaps the wait plays on your mind and when you get it your expectations are edgy.
Bottom line. It's a good product, give the dealer and G.M. a little slack to see what can be done if you're not happy.
As Auntie Mame once said, " Life's a banquet and most people are starving to death".

Well I for one think it's bad to tell others what to say. It's a discussion forum and those are popular issues. When customers speak out, under the grace of the people that provide and run this discussion forum, then it's a benefit that's win win. Chevy folks are strong enough to take the heat and I hope appreciate tuff love vs the brown nosing.

If people didn't complain about the issue, how would GM know there was one?

Food for thought, for your banquet

The way I see it , pretend you where 18 again(if you are then you know). You date this girl for severl months and each time she lets you get alittle closer. Everyday you get more excited because you think your getting closer to that wonderful day when she says let's ,well you know what I'm talking about. The day comes, your in the car alone on a back country road and things get heated when she says " Not until I'm married". bummer! This is what this has been like with thease cars. Hang in there guys waiting to get your ride. Just trying to lighten things up alittle.
