GPI SS4 Custom VVT Grind on my car

Cold morning idle, about 900 rpms in this vid, warm idle is 850. This is on my car, cam/headers/udp/ported intake and tb/cai/no cats/gmpp mufflers. Makes 509 rwhp 460 rwtq with this setup! Track times coming soon! Move over 10.87, its gonna see 10.6-10.7 now!

Excellent numbers. What brand of dyno do you use?

Land N Sea Dynomite. Kind of a mix between Mustang and Dynojet. It is more of a tuner dyno like the mustang, but doesn't read as low as they do. But it tends to read a little lower than a local dynojet we have in the area. I believe Howard up at Redline uses this same dyno. Its a good one with TONS of options and data acquisition.

Thank you. He's very anxious to go vvt. The biggest prob is finding experienced people who aren't afraid of it. You are one of a few that can be trusted.

IMHO your numbers are better yet. Most are taken on a DynoJet. You should do quite well at the track.

Talk to Grocerygetter. GPI just put a VVT SS3 cam in his vortech'd L99. Put down 620ish whp at i'm thinking 10psi. It made 110whp difference pre vs post cam. Nothing else was changed, except the tune, of course.
