Winter Tire Recommendation

So I have spoken to Rudy from TIRERACK he's pretty amazing! thanks rudy. He has given me a couple options. As well as i have done some research myself. I am looking for others that have gone either route and there experiences.

I am willing to order the 20 inch pierilli snow and ice tires to get the correct size required.

I am semi open to ordering 18's wheels and tires however my concerns are:
1. will it void my factory power train warranty?
2. if i run 235/60R18 tires on 18 inch wheels i know it will throw my speedo off approx. 1mph however i have also read that it will throw my odometer off.
3. if i go the 18 inch route can i have the dealer change the setting on my computer without much risk of it being messed up? is it worth it?

Cost isn't my major concern it is if i run a set of 18's it will throw off the computers and possible cause issues.

Also interesting the GM tire suppliers can't get the 20 inch tires and are replying with your gonna have to order them from tirerack.com

Any thoughts or experiences would be great!

THANKS CAMARO5!

Please everyone feel free to chime in but I will help in answering some of the questions. Thanks for the nice words BTW!

1. No Same overall diameter (very close). Will not hurt the power train or void the warranty.

2. Its very minimal. When you change tire size its usaully not possible to get the overal diameter perfect.

3. I am not sure if the dealer can do it or not, but I wouldn't worry about it honestly.

I needs some of my LT RS guys running this combo to tell the OP he has nothing to worry about. Help me out guys!!

Rudy

If you can get Blizzaks or Michelin X ices in your size I would go that route instead of the pirellis, I have run all 3 and we have an insane, icey, near 6 month winter here and I only use the Michelins and Blizzaks now! Notable improvement!
