Thumbs up Thanks to Scott in ALASKA!

Scott was one of the first to order a Camaro from me here at Newman. Yesterday, after what seemed to take forever to arrive, he took home his 2SS/RS Camaro! And in Scott's own words, "the car is FRICKEN' AWESOME!" And it looks like another family member approves as well!

We certainly try to please all our customers, even those 2694 miles away! Since this was one of the first long distance deliveries of a Camaro, my buddy Mike on the Oshawa assembly line sent Scott a nice Camaro print signed by the crew that built it! (Thanks Mike & Crew!)

Scott, I thank you for your business, as well as the new friendship we have! All of us here at Newman hope you enjoy that car, and hope to hear from you in the future on any new additions....like that Z28! Thanks again!

No, it was drop shipped....but I think it went on a barge via the panama canal, judging by the time it took!

Nah - a few Canadians drove it around for a bit...envision if you will, the scene from Ferris Bueller's day off when they went to the ball game and dropped the Ferrari off at valet parking.

Nope...I think it went down to the equator, through the panama canal, off the Samali coast through the pirates, down to the south pole, bumped into a whaling ship, but was rescued by the Steve Irwin, then up the pacific coast to Alaska....where it finally arrived yesterday at the dealership...

Thanks all......And especially you Scotty You are the man! I know I was getting a little impatient while waiting for it to get here, but you calmed me down and it finally arrived! I kept reading all the stories about... just hold on! its worth the wait! Well, they were all correct on that, this car is awesome in every way. Now I have one problem!......I cant get my wife out of it so I can drive it Again thank you Mr Volkert for making this all happen.

I will proudly display my Newman Chevrolet plate

One other thing! I think my Z06 will be collecting a little more dust
