Red LED's/MSD window switch.
I was wondering if anybody has done this yet.
I have a digital rpm window switch from MSD and was thinking about running it to red LED's in my interior (ABL dash and door kit). I think it would be cool to have my dash light up red after I hit 3500 rpm's. |

Cool idea. Bad part is that the ABL is not really visible during the day.

Have a link to this switch you're talking about?

I got mine off of JEGS, but their sold everywhere. Typically they're used for nitrous kits, but I decided to return my Zex kit after I decided I'd rather have a 1LE diff. That switch is just sitting there waiting to be used for something. Yeah, I looked up a lot of threads on here last night and that seems to be the case. I'm wondering if there is a brighter way to go than the light tube. An led strip would be brighter, but I'm worried that it would look "spotty" or unevenly lit. |
