Haven't been to one yet, but I've been hearing about them since my days in the Corvette Forums. Every Friday at the Tower Shops just South of 595 on University there's a car show & I've heard it's frequently pretty good sized.

Figured I'd post this up so people can post if they're going & what they're bringing so we can put names to faces.

I'll be there tonight on foot trying to coax someone with a 1SS or 1LT to let me oogle at the interior for a few

If you bring your car to show I heard it was $3, but I'm not sure how much "show" this is. I always figured it was just a bunch of people in a parking lot, but like I said I've never been.

So i was on my way there since i got out of work at 7. As im heading there it starts to down pour. Time to turn around and go home. Stupid rain ruined my friday night plans

Was looking to be a pretty fun show, until it got rained out.

Decided to leave when there was about 2 inches of water in the parking lot.

Yea as I was about to turn in it started heavy down pour was like ok time to go home.

Ya that was fun. There for about 2 minutes (if that) and it monsoons.

At least my spleen was still dry by the time I got back to my car

Oh well, hopefully we'll have some nice dry Friday's coming up.

I was on the way there but i got stuck at work and it started raining. i will be there next friday because i have to work the detail but if the weather is good ill have the wife bring the car.

Mine is on a railcar on its way to Miami. In a couple weeks I will join you all there. I also have a corvette, do you all park near them or somewhere else? I look forward to seeing all those shiny Camaros soon. Tony

I was there. It was sunny when I got there...for about 10 minutes, then light rain started for about 15 minutes, then stopped. Five minutes later--all hell breaks loose (lightning, downpours; no hail, fortunately); it just came out of nowhere, LOL! 'Tried to wait it out, but it just never let up, so I eventually dipped.

However, it was cool to meet another fellow Camaro5 member--Alarick.

Sorry, I didn't mean to exclude you; I was just thinking about who else was there with their car when I was typing.

It's too bad we barely had time to meet (about 10 seconds, was it? LOL) before the downpour started. I tried to wait out the rain, in case you were too, but after 10-15 minutes, I knew it was a lost cause. Hopefully next week will be better.

Hopefully next Friday will have better weather.

And we won't have to worry about the cars floating away in the parking lot.

i made contact with the weather gods and they advised me that it will be a nice night next friday so everyone bring thier cars. i will have my black and white because i will be there working the detail. all i know i have had my car for over 3 weeks and i have only been able to put 200 miles on it because im always working. i need some time off so i could enjoy my ss!

Me and a couple of my buddies from over here in Naples have talked about coming over to the show. We are probably going to wait till it is cooler and have less chance of rain. Non of us have a Camaro but we have my Vette a crazy cammed Z06 and a Cobra. I will book mark this thread to see who is going when we may decided to come over.
