GM H.U.D up and running

The job was a huge one takes most of the day I did have some problems with the anti theft modue take it off when u do this job its very easy I had to replace mine its so cheep $39.95 at the gm parts dealer no programing just plug and play but IF its it is damaged or goes bad u can not start car u will be locked out I can say its all most wise to carry a spare in glove box for 39.95 that cheep thing can make u have a bad day if it every goes bad it takes 5 min to put in but can give a tow bills for sure!!!!

This is sort of hard to read... what did you actually do? Did you add HUD to your car? Did you upgrade to the newer HUD? I've been (sort of) thinking about doing that.

He added a HUD to his car, and when he removed the dash (by him self ) he pulled a part of the anti theft module, that broke the part and did not let him start the car, dealer wanted $500 to fix it and he fixed it for under $40, so he wants to help by letting you know to keep a Immobilizer in the car.
