Wow what a difference this December for my Baby

I was reading a couple of weeks ago about people from all over asking about who wrapped their rides up for the year and I was thinking that I was no where near that and then this past week of weather happened. 2 snow storms and another on the way and temps in the 20's for a high today. Boy now I realize how lucky I was last year as my baby was out on dry roads at least once a month thru the winter. Hope you all have a great Holiday season !!

Luckley i have a heated garage. I drove in last years winter, and when i did my exhaust swap in the middle of July, i noticed all corrosion starting to happen. Never again.

My car has never seen road salt, as it is garaged for the winter the moment they first apply it to the roads. It doesn't see the street again until the threat of salt being applied is removed, and the roads have been cleansed of all the salt residue in the spring.

I bought my Camaro to drive it and not have it sit in my garage; so my daily driver is being driven in the snow and I'm amazed how well it handles with winter tires on. I love driving it and snow will not stop me

Jack, that is a great attitude and I am glad you are using your car and enjoying it. My statement was more all encompassing. I hate the snow, period. Time for me to move South.

I'm thinking one of the Carolinas would be nice I don't mind the snow as much I hate the cold, but change is good sometimes. Having lived in Cali, you even get to appreciate the rainy and cloudy days from time to time

i wouldnt mind the snow as much if they didnt salt the streets. i realize that is impractical, but its the salt and sand that is so hard on the cars. i just washed my 98 firebird in the dark while warm to get salt off from 2 weeks ago when i drove it. its just brutal on a car.
