did that lady get thrown in jail???
Probably not, let go with citations and your insurance is left to cover. She probably had a suspended license huh? I hope you the best and just be glad you are okay and it didn't happen in a parking lot.

You can still see pieces of her blinker in my bumper. They may not be the best pics, but can anyone guess the extent of the damage? There do not appear to be any major dents, so is this just a paint fix?

I have not called mine yet, but I have called hers and submitted a claim. I'm also going to ask for Diminished Value Compensation. Being young and naive, what am I supposed to report to my insurance? Isn't hers supposed to pay for everything?

I wouldn't call your insurance. If she has valid insurance and she hit you from behind you should be good to go. If her insurance tries to jack you around then call your insurance. No need to involve your insurance if you don't have to.

Wrong?
I got rear ended in July sitting at a red light. Clearly the other guys fault. State troopers show up. I get a police report and the other driver has insurance. I called my insurance to let them know even before the State trooper showed up. The other driver has All State and it pays the claim no problem. I change my insurance after moving to Florida and now the accident is on my report and i have to explain why it's there and the accident was not my fault. Call your insurance if you want but if i'm ever in a similar situation i won't be calling my insurance unless i have to.

Their insurance should take care of it. Only get your insurance involved if their insurance gives you trouble.
