Pittsburgh PA 1st Time Camaro Owner
Hello all!
I am living in the Pittsburgh, PA area. I am new to the area and only been living in Pittsburgh since July. Don't know much around this area far as car shows but I've seen many many nice cars of all types in this area. I am also a new Camaro owner. I bought my 2002 35th Anniversary Camaro and loving it ever since I bought it. This is the only car I ever wanted and I am very pleased to be having it. Its nothing special yet. When I bought it, it had a 9 inch DVD touch screen stereo with iPhone hook up, Bluetooth, etc etc, has a automatic starter (very nice since its cold out and yes I do drive it in the snow...). Also it has firefighter lights in the headlights with the lights flashing bright and quick. And it has a dixie horn just like from the General Lee car itself. This all came with the car when I bought it, I never added much to it just because I am dumb when it comes to cars and knowing what to put in it. My goal is to put a cold air intake system in it and maybe a new exhaust to add a little bit of sound to it since it is a quiet car. I'm just happy that I can change the oil when it needs it as well as brakes in the car. So if there is any Camaro owners in the Pittsburgh, PA lets meet up for a beer. I would love to see your Camaro. WhoDat! |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

I am loving the Camaro very much. I got it in April and was loving the T Tops every bit I had a chance and blasting my dixie horn to only see people smile and wave. Its the only car I ever wanted and I feel blessed to have it. I feel like its too good to be true to have it since I'm 24 and was able to buy the car of my dreams or the make (loving the 5th generation now).
The car is great, it handles great and I'm loving the power and feel to it. I had to get used to it being so low to the ground from the cars/trucks I drove and I never drove a RW vehicle before so it felt different but great. Now I just need to figure out if I should upgrade the car far as exterior, new headlights? New hood? Exhaust? Power to the motor? Gauges possibly? But I am in no rush and I plan on trying to get a 5th generation Camaro in a few years when the prices go down a little bit. So should I go ahead and put some money into it? |
