What option are there for road courses?

I can't find up to date info on google.

I'm in the Washington, D.C. Area.

What road courses are around? Where is everyone going. VIR is 4-5 hours away.

Anyplace closer in northern va or md?

I know several who use Summit Point Raceway in W.V. I believe by summer we will have Old Dominion re-opening below Fredricksburg. I intend to go to both in the spring. Others from the fairlakes c&c also want to do this.

I believe Dominion Raceway is opening in 2015.

Summit Point and VIR for now.

It would be awesome if you could get a few 1LEs together for a track day

Like others have said, summit point will probably be your best bet.

I'd go! The only time I've gone road racing though was in a Ferrari in Italy...

I thought that Maryland International Raceway had track days, but I can't seem to find anything about it on the site, only for dragstrip rental.

I don't think they have a road course.

New Jersey Motorsports park is close as well... Watkins is another epic track that isn't TOO long of a drive...

Summit Point has some great one-day events, called "FATT", or Friday At The Track. Schedule wasn't up the last time I checked, but I'm planning on hitting one in April. Could be cool if we all converge on one day. Even though my little ole' SS ain't a 1LE, I'll try to catch up with you guys

Pete
