Whats the difference between a axel back exhaust and a cat back ? Also which one has more horses? Who has more horses muffler or straight pipe?

Axle back is basically just new mufflers, catback is new piping from behind the cats all the way back along with new mufflers. Not big hp gains for either mostly sound gains, these cars are most restricted for HP at the factory exhaust manifolds and the factory cats. The biggest hp can be picked up with headers and high flow cats or not cats of course.

No real HP gain from doing a cat back vs axle back. Pretty much just waisting money if you do a cat back. The only logical reason to do a cat back is if you were doing headers and such.
