Is there any 12v switched source at the fuse panel in the engine bay?

My dad and I just metered almost every single fuse 15amp and above and every damn fuse we tried had constant 12v power being supplied to it even when the battery is off.

Does anyone know of any solid 12v switched source that could be used under the hood? I was going to use a 12v switched source to power the fog lamps and was originally planning on just using an "Add a fuse" circuit at the fuse box.

If you are just looking for a way to power added fog lights, you should check out some of the wiring harnesses over on Ofer's site Gen5DIY. He makes them for virtually every application and in some cases, has included switches with them as well. Not sure on the fuse question. Good luck.

Thanks! I was able to find another thread where Ofer posted about fuse #15 being switched source so we tapped into that.

Just so that people can use this if they find it -- this is how I wired my BlingLights halo fog lights. We used the 4-pin relay that came with the kit, and an additional 5-pin relay which is available at your local auto parts store under a 1995 Trans Am "cooling fan motor relay"

We had to change the relay socket's wiring around a little bit, but essentially what we did is below.

Fog light kit from eBay was about $100, 5-pin relay was $13, and a mini-fuse Add-a-Fuse was $7.

Now my halos are on automatically, and when the sidemarkers turn on it automatically switches my fog lights on.

Quick shot of the halo:

Finished result - halos on (camera doesn't show the "halo ring" that well)
