Wtb headers
Seems like I'm always missing the good deals on this site with folks getting rid of their headers. I have found a nice set of stainless steel 2" headers of Texas-speeds website, but have not heard a lot about them. I'm lookin to spend around 500 dollars. I can't see myself paying the 1200 dollars for the big name brand headers. I'm looking for either 1 7/8 or 2" inch with or without cats/extensions. I understand the cats are going to raise the price, if they are included. Just looking for a good deal or someone to give a good read on those Texas speed headers. Whata got?

A lot of guys will tell you to buy good quality headers, especially the members on here who decided to go inexpensive and ended up spending the next 3 days under a car trying to make them fit. I've been in that spot before where I purchased really really cheap headers, and after we modified them to fit (took two days), they cracked within the first 4-6 months. It's not worth it to buy cheap, you get what you pay for, and in return you end up just getting crap if it's not the higher quality stuff.
For something that you don't ever want to install or uninstall again, go with higher quality stuff, otherwise you'll have a headache, trust me. If you need any help with this though, send me a PM and I'll walk you through the options. |

I hate to disagree and agree. I have done tons of research and 304 stainless steel ... Well... It's just 304 stainless steel. I see what your saying with the cheaper headers, I have seen some real bad reviews on some. But the ones that have the same metal and thickness for half the price???? Your just paying for the name. Like the Texas speed ones I found, same 304 stainless steel and same thickness. But the fitting Issues.. I can see that being a pain in the rear end!!! I'm pretty sure with a 500 spending limit I'm putting out there... I can find some good headers.
