New ZL1 Owner
New to this forum,
Just picked up a 2014 Red Hot ZL1, manual. First impression, minding the break in period, amazing. No noise from engine as some on the forum mentioned, excellent ride quality, super quick and compliant handling. Only small quip I have, which is minor, is that seem as though the paint has a few dirt or water bubble speck in it. Nothing Im sure a quick correction can take care of. Any for what it worth, Im in love again with What I drive.

The sound they are talking about will most likely happen to you,it was one of the first things i made sure i didn't have to worry about by changing out internal parts on the blower..Its a dumb design to make a part made with springs in a blower instead of just building it with a solid part which is much stronger,and does not wear out..or cause shaft damage..The other issue is the bearings..all it takes is the guys at the factory to make sure they pack the bearing correctly or it would of been better to use a sealed bearing from the get go.. congrats on the car,I hope it brings yrs of enjoyment..

They did address the blower bearing issue for 2014? (oh and congrats! looking forward to joining the club soon.)
