Sunroof Guys and girls

Guys Check your drains in the trunk. One of mine was not put back together, after the Accident and I ended up with about 3 inches of water around the battery. This caused radio problems and I might even have a bad Amp now.

not sure I understand. the battery is sealed, otherwise the acid would leak out. the battery is about 8-10 inches tall. sitting in three inches of water shouldn't make any difference. or am I missing something?

Cables and wiring in in the bottom of the trunk. Plus water in trunk equals rust.

Was this from the factory or did you have work done to your car?

I think he said it wasn't put back together right after an accident, so probably not a factory defect.

I am sure I am going to sound very stupid, but what does this have to do with a sunroof?

The water drains from the sunroof go through the trunk and if they come loose it could flood the trunk.

Yep, Thanks, my drain was undone for over three months. And well the water just accumalated in the bottom of the trunk till it shorted something out. We've have a good bit of rain in the last three months.
