Diode Dynamics Bulbs - Reverse LED bulbs do not fit properly

Be wary of bulbs from Diode Dynamics. I purchased their LED reverse bulbs. These bulbs do not properly fit the wiring harness connectors, and will damage these wire harness connectors when you install them per their instructions.

Thank you for your post. We tested these bulbs in-house with no issues, but we've recently been made aware that in some specific Camaros, the connectors are tighter than others, making installation difficult. We are revisiting the design right now and will be doing testing on more than one individual vehicle before offering them again, to prevent this type of issue. Usually one test vehicle is enough, but it seems the tightness of the connectors varies from individual vehicle to vehicle, leading to varying levels of installation difficulty and success.

Of course, we always offer to replace the bulbs under warranty, and offer a full refund with zero shipping or restocking fees, but like any other aftermarket parts company, we are not able to cover any OEM parts that may have been accidentally damaged during installation of our products.

I do apologize for the trouble you personally experienced, as it is always our goal to provide a high level of customer satisfaction - however, we regrettably fall short from time to time. As always, we will strive to improve, in order to prevent the possibility of a poor experience for any of our customers in the future.

I contacted them and they handled my situation promptly. I opted for a second set and tried different things. In the end, I conveyed my findings on the issues and was provided a prepaid mailer and full refund. Similar situation, tab keyed base don't twist and connector pins too large or alignment issues for harness connection.

Just got my refund last week. Night and day difference in customer service from another led/light sponsor on this forum. Give them a call or email.

Yup they handled my situation very well. Too bad on the reverse lights I wanted these.
