Eibach Wheel Spacers

Does anyone have experience running Eibach wheel spacers? I have a 2lt with the factory 19's. I want to run the ss brembos and need extra space. I figure I might as well improve the look and stance with the larger spacers which come with the new bolts to attach the wheel to. Thanks.

Here is a link to the spacers that I am talking about.

I have 25MM wheel spacers and I love them. They make the stance of the car tougher looking. I think mine are H+R. You have 19 alloy wheels right? Spacers can't ba used on the stamped steel rims. Ohio Speed's price is excellent, I bought rotors from them, which I love. IMHO 25MM is the way to go, this brings the wheel right to the edge, you don't want to get 20MM and say "Dam I wish I had 5MM more"...LOL

Thank you for the input. I do have the 19 inch alloys. Was the install easy? I heard that sometimes the lugs need to be trimmed because they can stick out past the spacers. Thank you.

That's why 25mm are better too. No trimming! They are $1 more per pair.

Ohh Install. You pull the wheel, put the spacer on, put on the lugs that come with the spacer. You have to have someone put their foot on the brake for the fronts, so you can torque them down tight. Then put the wheel back on and torque it tight. The rears you can set the parking brake to torque the spacers tight. It's like removing all four wheels and putting on eight wheels...LOL PITA, but you only have to do that once, if you get a flat you don't have to remove the spacer.

The fact that I don't have to "trim" the factory bolts is worth it to me for that reason alone. Do you feel comfortable to still push the car hard? I do occasional auto-crossing.

Why did you choose different spacer sizes?

I've spoken with lots of people who use the Eibach spacers on their track cars with no issues. For reference, here is the 25mm Eibach Spacers Part number: 90.4.25.051.2. All of the Eibach spacers are Hub centric for perfect fit, use High quality aircraft grade aluminum (7075), and the kicker is the "million mile warranty".

The space from the top edge of the fenders to the tire sidewall is greater at the front. Tape string to the center of the fender edge and measure to your tire sidewall. You can get any size you want. I did have to grind 1/4 inch off the rear factory studs so the spacer would be flush. 90% of what I cut off had no threads. Plenty of burnouts and high speed driving....no issues.

Pushing the car hard is why they are made. They increase the stance, I know some will talk about extra weight on the hub spinning makes it harder to brake. I have mine for looks. I did 25 and 25 because the wheels are supposed to be offset. That's your choice. If you have the cash it's a no brainer.
