Forgive me if this is apparent somewhere and I missed it.

#1. If I order a black SS2 R/S can I get a IOM colored engine cover? I think that that'd look pretty sweet.

#2. If I order a black SS2 R/S with the Interior Accent Trim Package are the dash lights the normal blue or are they the orange?

#3. If I order a black SS2 R/S with the Interior Accent Trim Package which badges (RS or SS) are on the car?

Answer #1 YES you can.
Question #2 which lights SPECIFICALLY are you talking about? insturment lights or ambient lighting on the doors.
Answer #3 since you have ordered an SS/RS the badges are SS, however the letters are RED to signify that you also have the r/s package, you had only the SS the letters would be white.

I would like to add, if you are getting a black car, and getting the Interior Pkg, it would look sweet with ORANGE Rally Stripes.

Welcome to Camaro5, daphatgrant.

You'll have to order P/N 92219180 through your dealership parts department. If the cover is ordered with the car, LPO, it will be a body color matched black cover.

Only the ambient lighting on the doors will be orange.

Accent Trim Package has no affect on the exterior badges.
1SS - Silver badges
2SS - Red badges

Thanks guys, I'll specifically state that I want the engine cover color to be IOM and that part #. I wonder if the dealership will charge extra for the cover being that it's not the body color? Beyond the $285 that is.

I guess I wasn't aware of the ambient lighting on the doors, I will have to look up some pics... looks pretty sweet! I wonder how that'll look having the doors and dash strip orange and the rest of the dash different. Wish they had a IOM version of this pic.

I kind of thought that the SS2 R/S would have red SS badges but I wasn't sure, thanks

As far as the stripping goes, this may sound kind of odd but I'm pretty much limiting my options to either the cyber gray or white rally stripes. Only because I'd like to have the manufacturer put them on instead of the dealer. I will most likely go with the cyber gray as it's kind of stealthy looking.

I have seen one in person with the cyber gray stripes ,it was awesome.

Yes you can order an extra one that way from the parts department, And it will cost more.

The dash lights are blue and you have a ring that is orange.

All cars have SS badges but on RS car's the letters are red.

Sorry, daphatgrant, I screwed up. It's the RS Package that determines the SS badge color, not 1SS or 2SS. So, RS Package = red, Not RS = silver SS badges.

The engine cover is super simple to install, take off the oil filler cap and unsnap two retaining pins, so you may want to order it here http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=92219180 for $195.83 and save some bucks.
