Exhaust temp at the collector??
Any idea what the temp will be at the collector with shorty headers? My diesel runs ~1200* wot. Someone told me ~800* wot for the ls3 & ~3-400 normal.
I'm trying to figure out if the 650* gasket material I made to seal the leak after the header install will hold up long term or not. |

I can tell you that 650 temp gasket material will not hold up for long. Maybe a few months or less if it gets wet a few times.
