Quick question re Convenience and connectivity package - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm looking into buying a 1LT auto + RS + C&C.
Question is about C&C. In the 2010 Camaro Initial Ordering Workbook it says that C&C comes with the remote start for the autos, but on the gm website it doesn't mention it. Does it come with it or no? (I really hope it does) :(

to get the remote start, #1 it has to be an auto. #2 it has to be an 1LT, 2LT or a 2SS. The C&C option with remote start is CURRENTLY available. I personally used that feature when I test drovea 2LT/RS and a 2SS a few weeks ago.

I ordered my CGM with Black Stripes,1LT RS/CC Package as well. I will hopefully see it in a few weeks, the remote start is available, some already have it. It may not be available for the manual trans.

Actually, you can't get the 2LT/2SS with C&C. All the features the C&C package adds come standard in the 2LT/2SS, making the C&C redundant. It's only an option for 1LT.

That being said the C&C package does include remote start with Auto trans according to the build site (new one, not the old one).

YES THATS TRUE, my comment was that the FEATURE (remote start) is avialable. its an option on the 1LT, AND STANDARD on the 2LT AND 2SS, and is NOT AVAILABLE on the LS or the 1SS

Calm down, I was just clearing things up. His initial question wasn't whether the remote start is available, it was whether it was included in the C&C package. You said it was and backed it up by saying it was there in the 2LT/2SS. Just making things clear to others that you don't need the C&C to get remote start on 2LT/2SS since there is no C&C.

Why doesn't GM have it as an option on all models? I ordered a 1SS because I dislike leather. GM could have made some more $ off me. No wonder why they are going under.

I hope they add C&C for all models, at the very least for 1SS. The C&C is the main feature I want but I do NOT want leather seats and some of the other costly items that take you up to the price of the 2SS.
