I am not sure yet. In years past, we had maybe 25-35 cars..so we went by that to pick the Hooters in West OC last year.

Then we had 100+ cars show up for a place that had 65 spots. People ended up leaving because they had no place to park.

I am not sure what to do this year. If we are gonna have 100 cars again, we need a bigger lot. But if I move it hypothetically to Walmart say, do that many people show up again since it is not as "interesting" as Hooters.

Understood. I was on of the people who left last year since there was not enough room. Lesson learned though...I will be early this year lol! Either way it looked like an awesome time!!!

I suggest hosting something at the Ocean Plaza Mall Shopping Center 200 94th St, Ocean City, MD 21842. There are always plenty of spaces since that mall isn't the best. lol

Walmart is an option but its off the strip. Just a thought.

94th street is the new place for the LS1Tech guys on that Saturday, but they are on to something as is the guy above. It's not a very busy lot, unless it fills up with people parking and sitting in chairs along the street like 45th street did. I liked the Hooters spot last year but just bad parking. I'd suggest the Ocean City Outlets lot because it is a large parking area but don't know what to expect there with shopper traffic.

That's your call..we have tried to do the best we can with the meets, but honestly, the more competing meets you have the less successful each one is. Especially with how hard it has become to get around.

Also, it is never a given you can just show up at a random parking lot with 30+ cars and not get chased off. The LS1Tech guys used to do 45th street for years, and then the owner chased them off, and they had to move to 94th street. Only a matter of time before they do the same.

That is why we try and secure the place with the owner so we don't have to worry about that.
