I have the beltronics pro 500 its as good as the 9500, look into these two they are your best bet. Get the stelth mount that screws into your sun visor clip, and the stelth cord to power it off your mirror, I got mine from eBay. And the mount from the link below, if you custom bend it you can hide it above the roof liner it's a slick setup. There are several DIY threads on how to hard wire it to the mirror.

I think the Escort Redline outperforms the others in certain situations.

Just ordered a V1 after exhaustive research and looking into the top 3
(Redline, 9500xi, V1)

Guysoflidar has ALOT of purely by-numbers and well done tests of each and where they exceed or fail eachother in certain aspects.

Redline for long distance driving, 9500ix for city since it has GPS and will learn false signals and cancel the out, v1 shows the direction of the threat. Just depends on which bells n whistles you want. I know the redline is also undetectable. I'm not sure about the v1, but the 9500 does not have that feature.

I have a POS Rocky Mountain Phantom7 detector/Jammer that works like a charm. It's picked up cops miles away and has saved me ticket after ticket. Even when I'm not speeding we try and measure the distance from the alarm to the cop, I've been shocked over and over the distance it has worked. I read that jammers don't really work, so I can't attest to that part, but I won't be forking put big money for a detector until this one lets me down...

Got 2 tickets my first year driving my Camaro...Got my Passport Qi45 and 0 tickets 2 years later. Go stealth because cops hate radar detectors.
