I wish GM would read this website.

You know I would think with all the L99's going and getting dyno'd and all the operators of the dyno's saying the cars are running way to rich and robbing power, gm would read this and want to fix it. I mean the tune from the factory is wasting fuel and robbing alot of the cars power.

I have been fighting this for almost 2 months, some tuners have just changed the air fuel mixture from 10.1 up to 12.1 and the cars are performing alot better. I am not going to get a tune void my warranty because it is not worth it with all my debts.

But last night the wife and I talking we are getting close to selling the car and just forgetting about having the car we have wanted. So if something does not happen soon to fix the issues #230 goes up for sale and I will go back to driving my Honda. If my daughter does not have a job and the money to make her half of the Honda's payment by September 8th she loses use of the car. So I will just take it back and drive it.

Well if they do then why did they tell me my car is fine and the last thing to look at is to see if it may have a V-6 exhaust on it? They should see this is a real issue with many cars having it. My dealer told me the car is fine and the last thing to check if the exhaust is wrong if it is right we are done and the case is closed.

I do agree with Scott. Some at GM may read this, but your average dealership doesn't. I have been to several dealerships in several states and have yet to meet a salesman that actually knows the car. I have asked them about the multiple forums and I always get the blank stare.

If the dealership is the only customer interface with GM, how can a customer get these situations resolved?

I think GM has made a winner with the Camaro. So much so, the dealers don't have to work to sell it. If a customer asks too many questions, forget him someone else will come along soon.

I think GM should have revamped it's dated business model when it had the opportunity. The problem is the dealer does not represent GM's best interest. We constantly hear that the Dealer is not GM. GM should have fixed this.

Good luck with the sale, Hope someone who wants to do an engine swap or add a blower wants to buy your car. I think GM is done with it.

Well in that case I would be enlisting the services of an Attorney if they would take the case on a percentage basis. I would also be contacting the magizine's as well.

Edmunds picked up the M6 tranny issues:

I just visited a Ford forum and they've picked up the A6 issues (and are having a blast with it).

I suspect GM and the magazines are already aware of these issues. I'm questioning my yet to be built A6, but right now I'm going to keep that order. I can't help but think it will eventually get resolved - at least that's my hope for all A6 owners and for GM. I want to see the "New GM" at its finest... not the same old GM service that put it where it is in the first place.

I'm with you guys. I am spooked to death of this car and it's quality issues but I put a non refundable 1K down but i'm still about ready to cancel my order. The only thing that keeps me going is my wife and the guys that got great cars. Its the Russian roulette.

I ordered two; one for me and one for my wife. Surely one will work as advertised?

Stick is not an option, wife can not drive one. She is really getting upset seeing my frustration with the car. It has to keep going to the shop. She also pointed out how we never had this issue with our Acura or Honda

For me, it would be different if it were advertised as a 5.5 0-60 car. I must admit though, a trip to Armadillo, TX yesterday and seeing four Camaros just cruising the highway... well, it was really nice.

I think that's why I'm sticking with my order. I think I can still enjoy my car, my wife will NEVER race her car, and I'll hope GM comes through (if I have one of the slow ones).

Still, if my daughter beats me in her 2002 Mustang GT... it will hurt bad. Or, if my son beats me with his 94 Z-28... that will hurt too.
