Feeler: Anyone interested in a ZL1

Hi Guys. I'm debating what to do with my ZL1. It has the roto-fab intake, American racing headers, high flow cats, and corsa exhaust.

Would anyone buy it for 50? I can post pics if anyone cares?

Not interested in buying. Just bought one. However that exhaust is exactly what is was thinking of. Any chance of a video of the sound. And what part number for the Corsa.

I had this on a Cammed NA SS and loved it. How does it sound without a cam?

I would say it would depend on the mileage, where you live and the car's condition. I was looking about a week ago and found a couple of very nice ZL1's with less that 5K miles for $45-48K.

Aftermarket add-ons don't add a lot to the mix. You have to find a very specific buyer that will care about anything you have done. That's always been the curse of modifying.

Well I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. The car is flawless, get's washed and waxed once a week. It's got 5500 miles. I'm looking for anywhere between 48-50k for it.

Take a bunch of pics and then post it with every thing that has been done to it, you might get .20 to.50 cents on the dollar back for the parts just depends on the car..
Funny how when a dealer add's a bunch of aftermarket parts they act like its got gold on it,yet when the tables are turned ,your having to listen to the 50 reasons why it hurts the value or only worth a little more....

No year posted. If its a 2012 you will be lucky to get low 40's, if it a 2013 maybe 45, and if its a 14 probably less than $50,000. Autotrader instant trade value on a 2012 with 5000 miles is $37000. Ouch.

trade in is always a joke but even KBB is higher than that. then again dealers are queers IMO. they will offer 37k and then put out for 50K.

it is all about the right buyer. anyone who would let a ZL1 go for 37k is a retard. you can get more than that if you have an IQ over 40. I could trade in locally for more than that. I bet I could get 42k trade.

50k will take the right buyer right now. not that an auto with mods is not worth it but you need to find a buyer who wants and auto with mods. you can buy a 2012 auto for 45k BIN on ebay as we speak so 50k if the person has the internet might be hard.

anybody who lets a car go much below 45k in my mind is impatient. it is a buyers makert though they built too many 2013's so people who have to sell are going to be dropping that price this time of year.

Sounds like it wouldn't have a warranty. I would think that would hurt the price more than anything.

The warranty should be fine as long as it has not been tuned and even then if an issues should come up it must been proven that the tune caused it. No warranty on factory cats since they are no longer on the car.
