Wow...really sorry to hear about your troubles. I was seriously considering the Intune. I hope you get it squared away. Thanks a lot for helping me decide, this isn't for me.

This seems like a fluke thing. No issues with my FSP tune through the Diablo.

I too purchased a brand new Diablo Intune just 3 months ago for my 2014 Camaro SS. Once plugging the Intune into the port under the steering wheels got an "error code" on the the Intune stating vehicle not readable. This was disappointing, of concern.

Took a couple emails and a phone call to tech. support at Diablo to get it figured out. Will say though, good customer service as response time and problem resolution was less than a few hours.

Also, for a hand held tuner very happy and impressed. Yet of course ultimately had a custom tuner then utilize HP Tuners software to make further tuning adjustments including to the TCM.

Glad you had no issues with it. It just seems the OP wasn't having very good luck when dealing directly with Diablo. I would feel a whole lot better having a tuning shop be in the mix, like you with FSP. That way if there were any issues, they would help sort things out. Maybe that's the route I'll take .

Sounds like you had a totally different experience dealing with your issue than the OP did. Glad it got squared away for you right away & thanks for sharing.

HPT or EFI live if you want total control. Dyno tune if you want the most out of your tune. SCT if all the options above are not possible.

I bought the intune last fall and installed it on my 11 2ss auto. I never had a chance to take it to my local track for a true performance gain timeslip. During light throttle I felt no change, but under moderate to heavy throttle the shifts were firmer and under WOT the second gear shift would activate the traction control and with it turned off there was great tire spin after the shift(this was with all season Hancook tires).
I traded that car for my current 2ss auto. I have just had SLP LT header, high flow cats, mufflers package installed without any afteraxle muflers. It took me over an hour to get the intune to update at my computer, but after that I was able to tune my new car without any problems. I hope you get your issues worked out and they are not a common problem for us as I would like to get a more cusimzed tune from a tuner for my ss.
