Owned mine 2 weeks now - my take on it

Not to rip off the Lego movie, but EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!

I really can't find anything wrong with this car except the fact that I want to drive it more than my time allows!

I was trying to detail it today and still don't have the job done because I keep getting stopped by neighbors and people driving by that want to talk about the car. I've been stopped literally every time I've driven it so far by people wanting to compliment on it and take a closer look. It did give me an excuse today to drive it a few times though, with people asking for rides.

I don't have any buyer's remorse and know I've picked out the right car for me.

In summary - if you're one of those people on the fence about buying the 1LE - DO IT! You won't regret it, except maybe if you live in Wyoming or Antarctica. Otherwise, this is a fantastic machine.

I have never loved a car like I do my 1LE. I look for reasons to drive. Compliments everywhere I go. It may as well be a quarter million dollar Italian car. Congrats and have fun with it!

It's crazy how much attention these things draw. Maybe not so much from girls, but its always great when a kid is excited about seeing your car

Sure makes me feel better after ordering one this morning. Never been in one so should be quite exciting on deliver day. Just need to be patient.

Camaro Rob - you're gonna love it. The performance car I came from was an EVO IX prior to this. This car will outdo it on a track no doubt. That says a lot.

I went to pick up my kids from school yesterday afternoon and parked in the front. I actually had a couple kids and their teacher stop and ask if it was ok to take some pictures. I did one further and got out of the car and let them take a look inside. You'd swear it was a Veyron by the reactions.

It's just pure joy to drive this car. Just as much fun to detail it, and talk shop with passers-by.

I know the feeling, every time I stop somewhere it's a conversation piece. After having Lethal do their cam and full exhaust I now see people taking videos with their cell phones at red lights! Luckily the cops haven't shared in their enthusiasm.

Enjoy that beast!!! Loving mine. Beware, if you track it you may end up with an even stronger addiction to your 1LE.

7600 miles on my 2013 and my only complaint is that I wish I could drive it slow enough to get 18 mpg again like when I was breaking her in. I seem to have lost the ability to drive slow... :-)

Isn't it amazing? My wife ask why it takes so long to wash the car. People chat me up like there is no tomorrow. Chevrolet really hit the ball out of the park with the 1LE option. The aesthetics and design visualization are really attractive. Add to the the NPP exhaust and with the power this is a dream machine. I feel lucky to drive it everyday.

I get a lot of the people in their 50s, 60s and 70s that make comments.

I think if you're not a dick cops actually respect this car. I got pulled over for speeding and was given a fix it ticket for the front plate. My neighbor is a cop and signed the fix it ticket and hasn't balked at me removing the plate afterwards.

Orange Crush - I'm really tempted to track it. I used to in F2000s and with my EVO. I absolutely loved how my EVO handled, and this car has a very comparable feel, but I know just from pure specs and reviews that the 1LE would lap the EVO which is just flat out astounding since that was the whole premise behind the EVO design in the first place was superior handling. I've been out of it for about 2 years though so I'm certain I'm rusty. This car feels so connected and responsive - hard to believe out of a nearly 2 ton tank. It just defies what one would expect.

CrystalRed - my wife was giving me crap about that very thing yesterday. She drove away to hit the gym, get kids from school, came back and I was still detailing the car. Funny I don't hear about it when I'm spending that kind of time on her Jeep.. She's not quite the enthusiast that I am and doesn't like the 1LE, but I know she sees the grin this car puts on my face so I'm hoping she's happy that I'm happy and I guess we'll have to leave it at that.
