Texas Speed. Great quality, great price. Just installed them a few weeks ago and getting a tune in a week, I have a handheld tune on it now. The shop tuning mine recommended I change to a 160* thermostat and NGK TR6 spark plugs. These are controversial changes but I trust the shop tuning mine. I'm going with a real dyno tune using the HP platform.

If your goal is $1200 or below WITH a tune you ONLY have 2 choices. Stainless Power or Texas Speed. You may still have to install yourself if you want to stay at that price range, depends on your shop. Most charge $500 just for a tune, and you will pay low to mid $700's for your headers(w/cats) if you buy form the right vendor. I just installed Stainless Power and am very happy with them. I think I would be just as happy with Texas Speed. If you are going catless then maybe you can get this done with Kooks or ARH though.

Just replied to your PM. If you are wanting to be around $1200 for the headers and tuning the Stainless Power is the obvious choice. They are made by Stainless Works and will mate up with your Retro Chambered beautifully. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Any major differences between stainless power and stainless works headers I know they made by the same people but why the major price cut ?

Stainless Power are welded in China, Stainless Works are welded in the USA. That is the only difference.

This is a huge section full of helpful information......do some reading.....educate yourself so you can make your own decision. Do not simply follow the leader and impulse buy. You will find this quite empowering. Whatever choice you make, you will be pleased with the results.

If you already have the Retro Chambered catback you might as well go with the Stainless Works headers. Stainless Power like mentioned above, is a great cost effective alternative.
