anyone have insight on cutting window tint and applying to bowtie to make black?

I don't know if the bowtie is smooth, so the tint might not look flat, and you'd probably still be able to see some color.

U wouldn't want window tint. Vinyl would b better.

I used black vinyl on mine and it was very easy to install and looks great.

Try a Sign store. My friend does vinyl sings and had any color. I did flat black.

I do not know if you can take it off easy, but alot of people with Avalanches took them off and painted them. Some used a chameleon spray paint from the local auto parts store. They would look red, blue, or purple in different lights. Might not be what you want, but it might be what someone else is looking for. Some places also offer decals. You can search on chevyavalanchefanclub.com for some cool bowtie ideas.
