HELP! Battery dead need to get in the trunk

Need some help please.2103 ZL1 battery is dead need to get into the trunk fast. Also key will not come out of ignition. Thought I read a thread where there is a button on the bottom of the column to push but not one. Someone answer sap.. Thanks

I have an SS and I can get into the trunk through the back seat. Pull the back rest forward and you can get to the trunk. Then pull the latch on the underside of the trunk to pop it open.

OK which side is it on? This is my husband's car and he let me drive it today and I left the damn key on I guess. I am trying to get someone to come and give me a jump to start it. WIll the key come out once it is started? He is going to be pissed!!

Try turning the steering wheel back and forth. Steering lock might be putting pressure on the cylinder. And yes....through the back seat

there are battery posts under the hood you should be able to connect the jumper cables to, to start the car. no need to do it from the trunk.

The key will not come out when the battery is dead.

Yes it is in park and yes we have tryed to turn the steering wheel. That is not what the problem is. The auto wrecker is here. Where under the hood is the battery post to give me a jump? I will not let him touch it till someone tells me., It is raining hard here now.Please help thank you

It's a big red cap on the right side of the engine with a "+" on it.

It's on the right side with a red + cap over it. There is a small post by the airbox for ground
