Brembo brake rebuild or not?
Ok. After having your Brembo brake calipers powder coated is it better to replace the boots or not even if the boots are brand new with never seeing any brake fluid yet and did not get damaged during removal?

What he said. If you will track though you might look into Racing Brakes replacement seals and boots they supposedly do better with heat than the stock Brembo parts.

When I had Mike powder coat mine I took the opportunity to rebuild them because I really had no idea of the history of the calipers.
New cross over tubes, bleed screws, pistons, seals and dust boots. Unfortunately I put them back together on install day and the new front caliper boots were the wrong size. So I ended up reusing the old ones after a good cleaning. If your old boots are not cracked or rock hard, I think you'll be fine. Do check out the kits from Racing Brake though. It's nice stuff.

Ok. The ones who have took their brakes off to paint or powder coat did you reuse the copper washers and the caliper bolts or did you buy new replacement parts?

Ok. What about the bolts that hold the caliper to the steering knuckle? The ones that are torqued at 30 ft lbs plus 90°. I heard that stretches them and should be replaced. Just wondering who didn't and if that caused any problems?

The caliper bolts are TTY. Buy new ones. If I remember right they were less than $25 for all 8 at the dealer.
