Angry Convertible pillar mount???

Iv been waiting for ever for someone to make one of these freaken things!!!! Lol does anyone know someone who carries them? I'd pay good dame money for one and really don't care for the one that goes on the wheel. The pillar mount looks killer and I think it's the only way to go. I called auto meter and they say it's on there list but haven't yet got to it..... Anyone know how I can get my hands on one........

I got tired of waiting myself and mounted the one in the steering column. It's better than I thought it would be. The pics don't do it any justice. It doesn't block your view of the gauges and I bought the gauge with the shift light built in. Works pretty good. I'm happy with it!

Yeah if autometer doesn't make one soon I'm going to break down and get one of those my self . Iv owed the plx gauges and sensors for a year now and it's killing me to install them. The pillar mount is the best looking by a long shot to me. And I'd be happy to pay a couple bills for one lol and the hard tops can be had for around 80 bucks. Oh well I'm going to give them another call this week and go from there. If anyone knows someone who is making one in the mean time please let me know!

I made one using an Autometer coupe pod and cutting and gluing it to the convert a-pillar cover.

I have the same problem. I ended up mounting my wideband in the driver's left air vent so that I would have it for tuning, and the boost gauge is still in the box. I am either going to make my own a-pillar pod or make a dash pod where the center speaker is. I just haven't found a spare pod or center speaker grille to get started.
