Will Congressional Testimony Help Any Of Us?

I wonder if the heat brought down on GM via today's Congressional hearing will translate into fixes to the issues that many of us have. Does anyone have any insight? It seems that Ms. Barra is making quite a lot of statements on how addressing the ignition issue is just the first step in her overall corporate plan.

Gonna hurt GM sales no doubt. That's the main concern for GM. At least they are getting grilled hoping to fix their errors.

If your watching this its a joke. They keep repeating the same questions and not getting to the real issues but playing politics. I hope they just fix what they need to and stop the theatrics

Perhaps a congressional change in this year and an administrative change in 2016 will help.

I think the free ride they got from the Government went to their heads, as in... "So, we suck. Uncle Sugar will keep us afloat regardless".

What potential problems will be on trade-in values? Or used car sales?

Put your car on auto trader and watch people run away...

That is what a lot of people pinned their hopes on with Obama, we now all know how that went. Long live the new king, same as the old king.

Red or blue, same money behind them...

I just hate that they had to have a congressional hearing over this. I mean who is footing that bill Gm or us taxpayers? Was it really needed to have a hearing over this? Couldn't they have just said hey Gm if u don't fix this were going to come down on you real hard or such?
