2014 2LS Is it possible to play music through Bluetooth?

I've seen that the 2LS has Bluetooth for phone capability, but not for music. Is it possible to get it to play music via Bluetooth?

I have a '14 2SS and my iPhone is paired. If I'm in my car and start playing music on my phone, YES it plays over the cars speakers. BUT...it doesn't sound as good as if I have it connected via USB cable. And it drains the phone battery vs plugging it in via USB, so I don't play music that way.

I had trouble connecting mine for music. My phone wouldn't find the GMmusicwhatever Bluetooth signal. After I bought the USB and had my radio flashed it worked. Not sure if 2014 is different though.

Press the AUX button, then press the center of the second dial ("Select" I believe) and you'll be able to connect your phone via bluetooth through there.

In my 2012 2LT, I had to pair to GMusicConnect, and it would work. now, I just pair it like I do for phone calls (hit the voice button, and say bluetooth > pair) and when I play music on the phone, it comes through the car speakers. You lose a lot of bass that way tho. you are better off using the auxilliary or USB port (if equipped)

One of the nice things about this forum is the number of people that respond.

One of the not so nice things is that most of your responses are from non-LS owners. I believe dmginc is an LS owner. I'm pretty certain bluetooth audio streaming is not available at that trim level but maybe someone with that model knows of a way.

As Outlander said, everyone that responded so far has the upper trim levels(1 and 2 LT and SS). So of course, it works for all of them, as they have the USB port and PDIM module. Now, I'm not sure if Chevy added it for the 2013-14, but for those of us who have the 2010-2012 LS trim models, I'm fairly certain the feature for playing music from your phone through bluetooth is not available, as we do not have the USB port/PDIM module in our cars. We have the 3.5 mm audio jack, but no USB port. We can pair our phones up to make and receive calls via bluetooth, but playing music is a no go.

I have a 2012 2LS, and I cannot stream music from my phone via bluetooth. You can however buy the PDIM module and install it, then go to your dealer or wherever and have your car programmed to use it. I am thinking of doing this, as I would love to be able to store my music on a flash drive instead of burning CD's all the time. I think the PDIM module costs about $150 or so. But like I said, you would have to have your dealer or whomever program it into your car to be able to use it.

EDIT:

Found the PDIM module for 136.50 right now at shopchevyparts.com:
http://www.shopchevyparts.com/electr...-92252215.html

It says 2012 PDIM module. Not sure if it will work on any other model year Camaro though. Maybe someone can confirm/deny if it works on other model years?

i wouldnt go through the hassle of buying the PDIM module and all that when a 5 dollar wire connects my phone to the stereo via the aux jack.

I'm a 2LS. Albeit I have less and less 2LS parts everyday. But my input was based on what I went through to be able to connect. The PDIM is worth the money ($200) if you want to control your iPod from the dash. I don't know if the required radio flash enables connectivity to GMusicConnect, but after I had it done my iPhone would connect for music streaming.

I have the 1LS and I could listen to music with bluetooth, but I also did the PDIM upgrade so that may have been why it was available.

Soooo, is the PDIM option the only way to stream Bluetooth audio on the LS trim?
