ET Time

I went to the track today. I don't understand why my car is running so slowly. I have LT Headers, no casts, exhaust, intake, PTB, tune, 160 stat, and drag radials. I'm only running 13.3's and sometimes 13.1's...they had basically a stock camaro out there with only an intake and exhaust running almost as fast as me. I'm not sure what the problem is, with all that it seems like I'd be running at least 12.6's. Not sure what's going on?

Do you have an M6 or A6? Whats your 60ft like?
Any slips you can post?
Takes practice bud you'll get there

@Bigdame, based on your profile you are auto.

Post a whole slip, which drag radials, and whether you have any weight reduction. 20's up front and back?

I went 12.3@112 with long tubes, cats, stock exhaust, PTP, UDP, Tune, cold air, stock stat, 20" 555DR's on back and heavier 20x9's up front. Best 60 of 1.85.

I have an A6. Best 60' today was a 1.62, other than that my best was a 2.01. Not sure why. I know it takes practice, but stock camaros should not be running as fast as my car. Something isn't right.

I'll be posting some slips as soon as I can get them to upload. I am running Nitto NT555R's 305/35/20. No weight reduction. I have some ZL1 replica rims. 20x9 front and 20x10 rear.

First picture is the slip from today with my best 60'. The second picture is the slip from my fastest time and also my second fastest 60'. I just so happened to run my fastest time in the finals, broke out and came in second.

My 12.37 slip to show you were your numbers are off (like your 1/8 mph is very low):

There's no way in the world that car cut a 1.60 60'. That slip is incorrect.

Are you sure you're staying in it past through the full 1/4 mile?I've seen plenty of people get to the boards and let out.
We need a lot more information about your setup, and your experience drag racing.

Yeah that 1.6 is a fluke that slip would make sense if you were 1989 Mustang GT 5 speed launching on slicks.

The numbers from the 60ft to the 1000ft are all wrong the only number that might be right is the 1/4 mile and mph.

Go to the track with the FMS guys and I'm sure they can tune you to a low 12.

I couldn't believe it either. But I did one of the longest burnouts I've ever done and I felt it hook when I took off. Not sure what happened.

Nitto NT555R 305/35/20. I stay at about 35 psi. I tried going down to 18psi like I was told previously and I ran a 13.6 with that. So I quickly went back to the normal. Lethal Racing tuned my car so yes, the car should be properly tuned. And I do stay on it after the boards. In the first post at the top, I have my set up.

Yeah that 60' does seem strange. I definitely felt my car hook more than it ever has. Lethal Racing tuned it.
