Install, 3D Carbon Fender Vents
here is my next mod, 3D Carbon fender vents. ill post pics of the install as I do them. but for now here is what you get. the template is not in the pic.
what they forget to tell you is that you need to remove the lettering from the fender. I used a piece of fishing line to go behind the letter and just saw back and forth and it will release the letter, I did not even have to use a heat gun, the heat from driving home from work did the trick. after you have them off all you need to do is clean the tape left overs with some thinner. then here is what you end up with. then it says to measure from the tip of the top of the fender to the body line at 12" but its more like 12 5/8, and I am going to set it forward about 1/16 of the door line just to give a bit of room for the door to open without hitting it. it wont hit but its just for my peace of mind. lol and this is where the template will go to be marked and cut out. not cutting it out yet, need to get the painting done first.

here are the pics from the install
this is with mesh and 3m tape installed, be sure to use the promoter before putting the tape on the part and on the car before putting the part on the car. I bent the edges of the mesh over flat so I could put some adhesive so they never come loose. once the template has been put up and marked then tape off the cut. drill a starter hole in each corner and now there is no going back!!!! this is the hole cut out. be sure to spray the inside of the hole black so nothing shows. and the vent in place. sets really flush to the car. looks really nice. let me know what you guys think.
