Daily drive mine. As long as the temps are higher than 50 and you don't lean too hard on the go pedal, no issues with traction. It is however, there if you need it. I make a little more than 580, too.

Tame unless you stomp it. A true Dr Jeckel Mr Hyde car. In tour mode its very contained with some intervention of traction control. Turn off TC and lay waste to the tires.

really depends on temps on the stock tires. swap the stock rubber and you good to go.

in hindsight I would have driven strait to the tire shop dismounted the goodyears and sold them as new. I took delivery in July and didn't realize how stupid these things are until oct.

She's got it all, mine is not a daily driver but OMG when you need it look out. Control is key and it helps to know how to control her.

Both.
It can be tame as a kitten and roar like a lion.

That's the beauty of it.

Mine is a DD during the summer months.

You wouldn't believe how smooth and easy this car is to drive around town. I thought the same thing after I ordered mine, getting closer to delivery I started freaking out, should I have gotten the auto, is it going to be to much car to enjoy just cruising around town. Then when you romp on it, HOLD ON!

It handles well and it drives smoothly. Some things you should know: 1. The steering is super sharp....even I was surprised at the response. 2. Some say that you have to get used to the manual and the clutch, as I had to (but I was a novice at driving with a manual transmission). 3. I can picture this car being very wild if you mash that pedal so beware.

Overall its a fantastic driver.

I agree with all the above.
As gentle as you want it to be or as beastly as you want it to be.
With TC off you better know what your doing and have your wallet ready to pay for new tires because these babies will smoke the rubber like your on ice!

It's more of "self control" than anything else. This thing is a racecar with leather seats radio and air conditioner. GM got this one right!

Mine is DD every day of the year, unless the snow gets deep.
Trans shifts nice and clutch is smooth and light.
Drive it all day with no pain or other issues.
I romp on it daily, rain or shine.
The car is balanced amazingly well.
Conti DWS for the cooler months and Michelin PSS in the warmer months keep the squirreling to a minimum.
Although it is fun to get a little squirrel here and there.

Mine is DD all day long every day of the year. However, I don't have the winter weather to deal with like you and a lot of others do. But I drive it normal, whatever that means, and I have no issues.
