Did you gain anything in the 60 ft? I know sometimes slicks will harden when heat cycled so many times.

I agree with you Tim, unless you still had stock gears? Then running a shorter tire gives you gear ratio without the added expense. Assuming that the shorter sidewall doesn't affect your traction in a negative way. Me and Terry both ran 26.5" tall DR and had great success, but the best way would indeed be to have the correct gearing and a taller tire.

I'm on an 18" wheel so finding a 28" tires gets fun. lol There are limited options. Bottom line, you like the Hoosiers?
