Here is what I am installing so far: TVS2300 supercharger, Kooks headers and complete exhaust system, 65lb Fast injectors, Kenne-Belle Boost a Pump, 160 thermostat, Hennessey air intake and cam. My question for you all is I have spoken with Lingenfelter and asked them about cams and they suggest I use the LS9 camshaft as that is what they are using. Has anyone else heard this and can I just swap cams or will I also need springs also?

Nearly any cam requires new springs and I think new pushrods. Even the mildest cams that don't require springs its still a good idea.

From what I have seen the fuel system's are able to suppourt over 600 rwhp so you can scrap the boost a pump.

I would put a good set of springs on when installing a diffrent cam. I am sure even the LS9 cam is running a stiffer spring pressure than the LS3's but I have no facts on this.

Hopefully you can do a LS9 cam kit that will hook you up. As far as the boost a pump .. CHEAP insurance .. I'd do it too ..

Basic stats:

LS9 Cam:
.562/.558 211/230 @ .050

LS3 Cam
.551 / .525 204/211 @ .050
