Anyone running the BTR stage 4 cam?

Seems to be a pretty healthy cam and a little easier on the valvetrain
BTR LS3 Stg IV Cam 233/248 .619"/.595" 113+5 Cam

Looking for any feedback

I have something close. He spec'd me 231/246 .617/.596 114+4. It's a great cam. I don't have a dyno sheet, but I have gotten 116 MPH out of it at the track. There might be a little more left in it. I'm a bad driver. It drives great around town. It likes to buck a little between 1000-1500 RPM in 4th. Drives like stock everywhere else.

I am getting the Stage IV from BTR. Should be installed in about a month.
Anyone else have comments on this cam?

What sort of comments are you looking for? It's a great cam. Go for it.

Just thoughts on drivability after the install. I take my car to the road track but drive it as to and from work every once in a while.

Ask your tuner what he thinks , that's the most important part of the equation

I put in quite a bit of effort tuning light load driveability. I had to spend a lot of time in the timing tables trying to find the sweet spot. I was able to get rid of most of the bad manners. Mine will still buck a little between 1500-1800 RPM if I'm on level ground or going downhill. Basically any time I'm in that RPM range and just barely touching the gas pedal. I typically just drive a gear lower than I used to. I can cruise parking lots in 1st without using the clutch. Not 2nd. 6th gear starts working smoothly right at 60 MPH.

With that said... I'm on SS 3.45 gears. You will fare better with your 3.91 gears. You may not have any of the problems I had to deal with.

That is a very important part of the equation, but sometimes you don't know if you can fix it until you get in there and try everything. Sometimes it won't go away.

Not so sure I would go so big for a road course driven car.

I am running the Stage 4 from BTR in an auto with 3.91 gears and a 3200 stall. Its a great cam that made great power working with Matt@FSP to adjust the tune a little this week to compesate for the drastic weather change from maryland to new orleans. It does buck in the lower speeds but a good tuner should be able to make it work just the way you like. I went with this cam mainly because of the results I have seen in person and my guy Tim@TandTPerformance recommended it as well.

That was what I was thinking. Ii fielded the question to BTR and they recommended the IV. My tuner said that there would be some bucking at low RPM's but he could dial it in okay.
