Have been wanting to do this since 2012, F8 fuse pull, Vid shows start up and idle.

Should have done this a long time ago, The zl1 now at low rpm sounds so much better, Has such of a better sound just sitting in place at idle. Looks better click full screen. The GOPRO sound is not the best, It's so much better live.

I started to do this today to my ZL1, but after removing the plastic panel on the inside of the trunk, I started to pull some of the lining back and did not see a fuse box. I didn't want to tear the rear of the car all out looking, so I figured I better see where it is exactly before I tear into it..lol

Yeah, I pulled the F8 fuse soon after purchasing my '13 ZL1, and it's been sitting in the glove box ever since. However, I thought the exhaust baffles on the ZL1 only closed for mid-range RPM's. Even with the fuse in place, the baffles should have been open at idle, or at least that's what I thought...

at idle there is no difference its at cruising speed that it leaves them open making it louder non the less it does sound better without the fuse did mine as soon as i got it then added corsa for black tips and and she sounds good. someday i will get around to putting the american racing headers on

Yep, pulled mine before the headers. Thought once I put the headers in I'd put the fuse back in and try it, never did, happy without it.
