Pricing SS, 1LE, RS, 2014
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and have been lurking here to get as much information as possible before I buy. I spoke with the dealership and got the purchase price of a Camaro 1SS 1LE RS with dual mode performance exhaust to 35k before ttl. Do you guys think this is a good deal? A few more questions. Do you think the 2015 will be redesign as it should be coming out soon ? Debating on waiting to see what it will have to offer. Do you think the price will drop significantly not the 2014 once the 2015 model cars start to show up? |

You're right at invoice price, which is below MSRP. But that price is without any incentives. Ideally, you should be closer to under 34K. The 2015 MY will not have any design changes. The consensus here is the 2016 MY will be the introduction of the 6th gen, especially with the announcement last year that production of the Camaro will move to Lansing, Michigan sometime in 2015.
Welcome to Camaro5

Then maybe ,you can get another grand off if you haggle .At this late in the year ,the incentives might go to $3000.00 from $2000.00. Get a TRUECAR quote and show that to your dealer.

It's an ok price, not great but ok. If you feel comfortable with that price, then seal the deal.

I appreciate everyone's input.
@shippingguy. I'm moving to CA from GA, and I heard there are special emissions requirements. Would you recommend that I wait and buy in CA to get the car equipped with the necessary emission gear for CA or is not that expensive to retrofit it with the proper gear for emissions? |

Looks good to me. Thats invoice, less rebates, and an extra $500-1000 off to boot it looks like. I would sign on a deal like that as long as they didn't play games on your financing or any trade in you have.

That is a good price for the 1LE, and the difference between the the '14 and the '15 are minimum (with a few interior upgrades like lighted footwells on the '15) both exteriors will look the same.

dekee....I would just wait because you are going to have to register the car here as well and to do so it will have to be smogged. That being said you will pay for registration in GA then again in CA as well retrofit whatever is needed to make CA compliant. Although I am not sure if they come any different from the factory per state.

My 2SS 1LE was $41K. It's got every option including sunroof. But I had to fly from East Texas to Oklahoma City to get it. I made the best deal I could find, bought a plane ticket, and flew it home!!
